Workfirst Workstudy

 WorkFirst Applications are now being accepted

 

Women's Programs & Workfirst Services is currently accepting applications for their Workfirst work-study program.

Requirements to apply:

*Receive TANF (cash) from DSHS
*Need a core activity stacked with your school component
*Enrolled and attending classes in the quarter you are applying and plan on working

Print application here!  Complete Application, resume, and 1 page summary (cover letter) then make an appointment by contacting:
Women's Programs office (building 6, lower level)

* application and appointment does not guarantee a position:  It is important to pass the interview process & find a position on campus.

The WorkFirst Work-Study Program is an excellent opportunity to practice skills you have learned in the classroom at your job site and bring to the site your talent and previous skills.

  • Earn income to help support monthly bills
  • Work where you learn, & save bus and gas money
  • Gain Valuable resources being involved and present
  • Gain referrals & recommendations for future full time employment
  • DSHS approved and employment will be added into your IRP plan along with class time and study time
