Who can apply?
Funds only for eligible WorkFirst & TANF students.
- Emergency funds are available through a generous donation from our community partner – Soroptimist
- Eligible students may receive up to $250 once per academic year. If your need exceeds $250, your application will be referred to the Highline Support Center for review.
- These funds are intended to help with unexpected expenses that could prevent you from withdrawing from school.
- Disclaimer: If approved, you may be invited to share a short reflection about your experience at Highline and how the award supported you. Participation is completely voluntary. Please note that your stories will be anonymously shared with the board members and local agencies who work alongside Soroptimist. To protect your privacy, your Full Name, ctcLink ID, and any other identifying information will not be shared.

Any student currently enrolled at Highline College!
- May receive up to maximum of $250 per academic year.
- If you receive funding for books through Financial Aid, DSHS, Workforce, WorkFirst, Veterans Affairs, an employer, or another agency may not be eligible.

Who can apply?
Any student currently enrolled at Highline College!
- Applicants must provide bill or invoice from a licensed daycare provider showing cost and proof of your child’s enrollment.
- Funds can be used for daycare tuition, co-pays, late fees, administrative fees, and/or supplies the daycare had to provide.
