ABE 19 – Life Skills

Life Skills is a credit/no-credit, online Canvas structure class where assignments are tailored towards your goals and needs, and is conducted over school break periods.

This course is designed to build students’ confidence, affirm their readiness to succeed, and serve as a crucial starting point on their road to reaching educational and employment goals. Students will understand and recognize their inherent skills and abilities, gain new knowledge for success, and build upon their skill sets to meet the demands of everyday life and employment.

Life Skills is currently only offered for eligible, TANF participants. Your DSHS case manager and assigned WorkFirst Advisor must approve this activity before you have permission to enroll.
